ABSTRACT

Water is one of the most important elements in human life. Starting from the traditional life to the life in the modern era that supported technological advances at this time. Water has a strong and powerful philosophical meaning and a message for all living things. In its smallest form, water turns out to have the potential to serve as a photographic object. In this paper, water is used as an object of macro photography and expression photography. Exploration is done in such a way as to create a rainbow visualization with the help of Compact Disk and interesting lighting. The combination of elements of water (nature) with the object of representation of technological progress (Compact Disc) is expected to create a collaboration of nature and technology in the creation of a visual work. By using macro photography techniques, the details of the grains and the effects of the rainbow light can be seen clearly. So from the results obtained can cause an unexpected impression, aesthetic and philosophical.
